Flooding chaos has returned to Scotland, forcing people to flee their homes and causing major disruption to transport networks. Meanwhile, parts of the north of England are bracing themselves for another deluge as the Met Office puts fresh weather warnings in place. The heavy rain closed Scottish roads, and trains and flights were cancelled in Aberdeen and the surrounding region as water levels reached record highs.
